ferrel kitty I've been feeding and loving for three years. He lives outside. I call him Putty. (how unoriginal is that!) He's just beginning to learn his name. He jumps into the back of my minivan to get his food. He lets me pet him. He's so handsome and sweet. I love that cat. But I just cannot have a cat in my house. I'd have to declaw him and I don't want to do that. I also wouldn't want to spay him since he knows what love is about.

One of the best things you can do is spay/neuter a feral cat. If he knows what love's about he'll have some fond memories. He'll also know how to chase (ahem) tail. Ever seen a cat chase tail? Nothing will stop it when it smells a queen in heat. Not even a busy road.
I have two humane traps and use them for "TNR" -- trap-neuter-return. Save your outdoor pet & stop thousands of kittens roaming free. Neuter him or spay her.

He's a perfectly formed tabby. Nice size. Pretty green eyes. What a sweetheart. He's beginning to act like he wants a home with me. He loves me to death. Poor Putty. :cry:

that hung around with our outside kitty (Xt'Tapalatakettele) it was a fraid of humans so i dont think it had an owner, tho it looked well fed, one time it was sitting in our driveway and i walked up next to it and squatted down, i wasent noticed. Xt'tapalatakettele did something funny and i laughed, the cat next to me did a triple take, jumped 10 feet into the air and made off like a bullet, funny.
