Through the pale door

3. Fall of the House of Usher
despite my thread on the Cask of Amontillado.

I first read it in HS and then decided to write my Jr research paper on Poe. I've read it a couple times since. About a year ago I found a book called "Return to the House of Usher" by Robert Poe (a distant descendant) and it sort of rekindled the interest.
