French corporations are unprofessional. :( |

UbiSoft: UbiSoft is a gaming publisher based in both Quebec and France. In April 2002, Ubisoft released a port of Dreamcast RPG called Grandia 2 for the PC. The port was extremely buggy and I had to limp through it using "secret" hot keys put in place to get by buggy sections of the game. A patch was never EVER released, even though the company has released patched for far less buggy games it has released.
Mandrake: Let me get one thing straight: I believe that the recent fiasco with Mandrake Linux 9.2 physically destroying LG CD-ROM drives is completely LGs fault: They claimed the drive was ATAPI-compliant, even though it wasn't perfectly so, which in turn caused the damage. That being said, Mandrake promised 9.2 would be available for the general public to download by the end of October. It is Novemeber 1st in France, and this has yet to happen, even though those goddamn frogs have been too unprofessional to prepare a press release explaining the delay and providing us with a new release date.
I now declare it moral to download Mandrake 9.2 download edition ISOs that have sprung up on "rogue" FTP sites.
