I need to look more GAY
Yes, you heard me right. Er, read me right. I want to look more like a flaming homosexual.

What can I do?

From my pinky ring thread, http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=105&topic_id=349431 , it's obvious more than homos wear pink rings. :-(

Of course, not looking at womens' boobs will help foster the homo concept as well...

2. ok try this:
First of all looking a little effeminate will make women more attracted to you, so don't be ashamed. But don't be ashamed either if you're coming out now. And, the looking at a woman's breasts (when you are in personal contact with a woman in perhaps a casual atmosphere) isn't necessarily a testament of your sexuality, it probably is a learned response. And I think, that some women would want to to look them in the eye: even the women who want you to look at their breasts may appreciate it, but they won't know why).

Anyway, just some tips from a successful, married-with-children heterosexual.

Everyone assumes I'm straight. I came out of a 9 year relationship last year. I need to look gay too. We need help people!

6. As a observant straight female who's worked in advertising
in San Francisco for 20 years, my advice would be to wear bright colors. Only gay guys have the nerve to do that. Straights wear blue, black or brown.

7. Darn!
I've been contemplating a darker, gothic look for my general attire. And now I'm supposed to be bright colors... cool! I'll mix and match the two as a last resort...

Thanks!

9. Vivid colors that fit your skin...
I would never have come on to someone that looked Goth or dark. Kinda scarey or threatening to me. I looked for guys who seemed to be fun, smiled a lot, appeared relaxed and open to conversation. Believe me, 15 years later, it worked...

11. subtle rainbow jewelry, T shirt or cap?
My best friend used to get really upset when we worked out together (at Gold's in SF) that no one knew he was gay, and worse, people might think he was my boyfriend. I told him to get a subtle rainbow thing and he got a black tee with a small rainbow triangle. Did the trick. He started to get hit on.
