Favorite Tim Robbins film?
"The Hudsucker Proxy"

I have so many and "Shawshank Redemption" is also one of my favorites, but I can watch "The Hudsucker Proxy" a million times.

Robbins is fabulous because he has the perfect face for the part and his delivery of his lines is sublime.

Also, kudos to the Coen brothers for such an uplifting script and a musical score that gives me chills!

"You know, for kids!"

4. "Cradle Will Rock"
a seriously underrated film starring Robbins, Sarandon, Bill Murray, and so many other greats.
Probably the best film about the end of the "New Deal", ever, and a must for all Progressives.

3. I have to say
Shawshank Redemption.
I just saw Mysic River and he was wonderful, as was the rest of the cast. Clint Eastwood composed the music. A depressing but fine film.

10. Thanks for the recommendation...
I keep picking it up and putting it back on the shelf at the library, but I'm going to check it out tomorrow. Favorite Robbins film so far? There are so many--'The Shawshank Redemption', 'The Player', and 'Bull Durham' would have to be my top three.

22. Elizabeth Pena?
Kinda hot?

Where do I go to be friends with her?

Bob Roberts, with the psalm-singing Ashcroft-type, is a truly
frightening movie.

17. Toss up: Howard the Duck and Bob Roberts
Say what you will about "Howard", the songs are by Thomas Dolby, and Thomas Dolby can do no wrong. So, it is a good film. :)

19. I guess we're going for actor, not director, cuz Dead Man Walking
is obviously the best movie he's been involved in in any capacity.

20. He was great in Mystic River.
Sean Penn's performance is getting most of the attention, but Robbins' performance was much more subtle, and perhaps more powerful.
