1. Why do you suppose skunks drink so much?
Is it the smell?

9. Nice ditty for the kitty
In the coalmining town where I grew up - in NE PA - there was one bar where oldtimers went. They stood at the bar, or slouched on the barstools, worn as they were, and drank boilermakers - the real kind. They were too old and too bombed to make it to the restroom, so they got into the habit of peeing where they stood, against the bar. When the bar closed, the owner scrubbed the place down, and the next morning - bars opened at daybreak back then - they started all over again.

The beer-drinking cat has always reminded me of those old miners.
