1. Congratulations on your new baby...
Hope you have many wonderful years together (he says while gazing adoringly at the springer spaniel curled up at his feet).

3. Misty...
Is on her back next to my chair. Her favorite spot is wherever I'm sitting at the moment.

It's kind of weird when you're in the bathroom. Like fur lined underwear.

How precious!! We have two cats. If I had the room, I'd have a bunch more. Congratulations! Rescues are always the best!

6. Isn't it wonderful!
I have a house full of dog hair and my farm office is full of cat hair, the barn full of horse poop and I could not be happier. I want to add some chickens as soon as I move out there, maybe a goat or a llama. Perhaps just a farm full of strays! Life is good when we share it. Congratulations!

5. What a beautiful kitten!
Congrats!

I got a new baby myself two months ago-a beautiful Maine Coon kitten named Oberon ("Obie"). He's the first pedigreed pet I've owned-all the others were/are stays-but he's "pet quality" (imperfect markings) so sadly, many purebreds end up at shelters because of absurd "imperfections" like a little tarnish in an otherwise silver coat!

Obie is just what my home needed after losing my beloved 15 year old Peewee on August (a half turkish angora stray). My 14 year old kitty Miro has finally warmed up to him-I even caught him using Obie as a pillow yesterday, lol!

Three cats, two dogs, and a bunny sounds like a happy household to me! :-) It's hard not to add even more, isn't it?

8. There was a dog there...
I so desperately wanted to bring her home with me. She looks like Misty and acts very similar to her, too. She's very submissive. If you look at her funny she goes back to her doghouse.

7. Cider is so cute!
Have you ever owned a Red Tabby?

They have a personality of their own.

I bet you can't wait until next Saturday.

Congratulations!

9. Saturday, 4:30 am...
We will be on the road and headed to Michigan! Yes, I can't wait.

What kind of personality are we talking? I already knew I was in love when he curled up in my arms and went to sleep. Then, when I put him back down, he came back over and clawed at my pants leg till I picked him back up and he did it again.

I must be comfortable. :-)

13. I have had two Red Tabby Persians
After my Big Guy died I got a little Red Tabby Persian that is one of the biggest stinkers in the world.

This guy was jumping off of the floor at 8 weeks old smacking you in the legs as you passed him.
He jumped into the toilet bowl one day before it was flushed and luckily nothing was in their except toilet paper and I had to dip him out and he had toilet paper on his head.
He sat in the water like he was in a sauna and that was was cold.

When he was 10 weeks old I was moping the floor and he jumped down in the mop bucket that had Lysol in it. I washed him off and rushed him to the vet to be checked out and he was alright.

Our Golden/Sheppard mix was on her death bed and he made a couch out of her. He sat on her and cleaned himself like he was sitting on a couch and when she would move he would smack her with his paws and latch in so he wouldn't fall off.

A week after that we noticed that cups of coffee and cans of pop were falling over all of the time right after you left the room. I watched him one day and the little quirt would act like he was sleeping as as you would leave the room he would knock over the glass, cup or can and then he would lay back down and pretend that he was asleep.

He is fully grown and he is the size of a 6 month old kitten. He picks fights with our large rescue cat. He jumps up in the air and slaps everyone and he still tips things over.

My other red tabby was the leader of every pet in the house but he was a quiet cat. He didn't knock things over but he bossed all of the others.

I love Red Tabbies and I wouldn't do without one.

You will enjoy him and he will have a personality like no other cat that you have owned.

10. Pet hair should be considered a condiment
If you don't have pets, you don't understand.
