New polls show our liberal mayor losing to the moderate liberal in Tuesday's election. FUCK! I don't want this to happen guys, I need a hug I'm about to puke.

The only way we're gonna win this election is if the liberals get out and vote and there is a strong bloc of 'em.

This race is basically anti-Mormon vs. Mormon and the moderate Dem (a Catholic) has courted the vote. Salt Lake City breaks pretty much like this: one third Democrat, one third Republican, one third independent. The independent vote mostly swings to the left, which will help Anderson (our mayor). BUT since Pig (I can't even force myself to spell his FULL name) wants to win, he as swung to the right to get their (Republican) vote. So basically he's got the moderate liberal vote as well as the LDS vote (Republican). He leads by ONE point in the polls today.
