I knew I liked Molly Ivens for a reason.
She was just on "Wait Wait, Don't Tell ME" on NPR. It turns out taht she uses "ya'll" which is always aplus, drives a pickup truck (with crome on it) and can giggle at a sexist comment.

GO MOLLY!

1. Of course she uses "y'all"...
and drives a truck - she's from Texas after all. (And we know how you like those Texas girls. ;-))

12. LOL, you watched on radio?
I heard bits and pieces of her. She did good! Won Carl Kassel's voice for the contestant. Not many celebrity guests do -- as Peter Sagal pointed out.

6. My husband has a bone to pick with Molly
Thursday on NPR, she called Bush a Texan, and implied that Texans are all very pro big business. My husband is a sixth generation Texan, and he takes such statements very seriously. None of his family or friends are pro big business, and they all hate "that carpetbagger", their name for the Shrub. I have yet to meet a Texan who says Bush is anyting else.

9. On wait wait
she said that he went to high school (prep-school?) out East, but was home in the summers where she knew him to say hi to him. She continually defines himas affable. I wonder if she really wants to say laughable?

10. I've heard her refer to him as "affable" too...but actually that's not
necessarily complimentary....A brainless dolt can be "affable"....I think it's one of those words that can cover a lot of ground....:)

Read "Bushwhacked," then read "Shrub," then read "you got to dance with them what brung ya."
