1. Does that also mean he has
No modern day fabric-tailoring skills...?

2. He does, but he likes the duck pins better.

They're cuter. :-)

Though I really should just hem 'em back up higher. They're bloody way too long.

8. HA HA! I do that sometimes.
Partner hates it when I do. I look totally "old guy". Do that with some dress socks and slippers and complain about the cold and waddle around, and it would be just like my uncle richard, may he rest in peace and not take offense at my teasing him. :-)

9. You need a needle and thread
Hemming is simple. Drop them off and I'll do it for you. Taking pins to bed with you can be dangerous!:scared:

13. Yes, as I said earlier, hemming would be the ideal solution
but then I'd lose the cute duck diaper pins. So, it's all about opportunity cost, if I may be allowed a brief foray into the language of economics.

14. You are welcome to the pins if they make you happy
That's one of the advantages of living in a democracy! My offer's still good, however! I will hem them for you so you don't accidentally stick yourself while sleeping. I guess you are not worried, having chosen diaper safety pins!

15. Thanks!
No, after two years of having these pins in, they've never come undone, so I think I'm safe. :-)

Thanks for the offer though! But if I ever decide to hem 'em up, which I doubt I'll do, I'll proabbly hem them myself.

11. Rabrrrrrr?
Are you named after the toothless fool (Mel Brooks) in Blazing Saddles? Just curious as that's one of my favorite movies.

12. And how did you come to that conclusion?
Did you read the "how do you pronounce your name" thread?
