Chris Gamble.
The weather will not fatigue him as much in November, so he's playing LOTS of downs from now on.

22 straight games without a double-digit deficit.
30 minutes still to play. Go Bucks! get it rolling!

I don't think he intended to drop the pass but I could be wrong he could be another Art Schliester and has some debts that neede to be paid. Besides the Penn State guy was on him like white on paper plate and in a snow storm. I think that was pass interference as well.

Winners move on, whiners cry and cry about the previous play.
And Penn State did NOT win the game, no matter hard hard you blow your nose into that tissue.

Ohio State won. After the bad call, they kept going and won. They didn't hand the ball back to the refs and ask for clemency.
ASU would have done the same thing, except it's highly unlikely that ASU would have actually WON the game.

They didn't hand the ball back to the refs and ask for clemency.) It doesn't take away anything from the point that Ohio State benefitted from a blatantly bad call.

Jesus it never ends with you does. Hell the Browns would've been in the playoffs if it wasn't for a bad call a couple of years ago. Does that count as Browns win? No it was counted as a loss because they were a few points behind when the game was over. Where the Browns fas pissed? Yes and justly so. Did I think it got out of hand afterwards? Yes Do I think the owners and GM should apologize? 60% yes/40% no. You understand now.

But I thought you were a Bengals fan, but I just say forget it, what happened is over with and I just made my point and people misunderstood it. Things just would've been alot different if the refs made the right call but this is just an argument that college football should have instand replay. I remember the one year before instant replay was brung in to the NFL there was bad calls up and down the league, the Cardinals lost 2 games due to really bad calls in the last seconds, I remember sold out the cardinals were hosting the Cowboys at home and Plummer throws a fade to the back of the endzone, Sanders catches it in mid-air but was pushed out of bounds and you know by NFL rules that if you are inside the endzone but the player pushes you out of bounds while you are in mid-air it is a catch. But can we please just forget this argument, what happened is over with.

|
Bidwell(don't know his first name) was a successfull owner with the Cardinals, they have been to two NFL Championships and won 1 and were very good team in the early 70's but then his son Bill Bidwell took over after his death and nothing but 25 years of failure, of course they had a few great seasons but nothing more, he trades developing players before they reach their potential and sign over-the-hill NFL greats which is basically a recipe for disaster.

I hate to break it to you but almost only counts in horseshoe's and hand grenade's. If anyone is to blame it's the Penn State defense yes the Buckeyes got a first down on a bad call but, the Penn State defense gave up after that and let the backup QB score on them. That's why they lost, they gave up. Good teams can overcome bad officiating like Ohio State did against Iowa.

OSU won (yes, won) by one. Even if the refs deliberately blew the call, Ohio State still didn't cover. So you're saying that the refs were trying to get OSU two touchdowns on the play? That's the only way the refs cover their bet.

63. They don't have to create standings for that |
|
But on a mind level you know OSU was handed the ball game to them.

77. No, Ohio State had ONE PLAY handed to them |
|
They won the game because they pushed the ball over the goal line three times.
I'm pretty sure that3 TDs were not handed to them.

A blatant hold. Even those announcers (Cunningham is a big OSU hater from way back) said he was held. If that last field goal would have been good, I wouldn't be on here claiming that Ohio State actually won because of a bad no-call from the officials (PSU scored later in the drive).
Why wouldn't I be claiming an OSU victory? Because if the field goal would have been good, Penn State would have had more points. That's how you determine the winner in a football game. It's not a really complicated process.
Edited the title line because I can't type or something.

I don't like it when I don't get the memo when the rules change.
Next thing you know, you'll see a thread saying that the refs screw Penn State in an effort to force them from the conference. Well, maybe it's just that they were bribed. :eyes:

You play by the rules. If the men who enforce the rules blow one, you don't go back to that point and start over.
You play on, and you win or you lose. Ohio State played on and won.
Would you like to go back through every game in the history of football and revamp everybody's records based on the referees?
I'm SURE the Big Ten will release a statement during the week stating that it wasn't a catch. But they will NOT take the win away from Ohio State.
they WON, and it STAYS a win. Period.

OSU won. The refs blew a call.
Find me the asterisk in the NCAA standings, or go away.

MY POINT WHICH IS HARD FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!!!
The refs gave OSU free yardage and OSU benefitted. They will not put an asterisk in the standings and I never said they would so quit putting words that I never said.

But that game shouldn't have been that close. That's why they play 'em, though. Think Ohio State was looking ahead a little? I do, no matter what they say.

Penn State just played the best game of the year for them.
Quite simply put, that big target on our backs that goes with any team defending a National Championship is a bitch. Penn State saw it, and took aim.
And we drove the final drive with our backup QB and our backup RB. Ross got hurt on the first play of that final drive, remember.

It seems that the refs spotted the ball poorly on a play in the 3rd quarter, so Florida DIDN'T win.
If the refs are not robotic and perfect, EVERYTHING is tainted and NOBODY wins.
New Rules, so I'm told.

|
The reason that this play is controversial is because OSU is driving late in the game and if that call is ruled correctly, OSU is facing 4th Down.
He meant PSU *should* have won.
OSU is just lucky. They are a lucky team. Ever since last year, they've been competitive because they benefit from missed calls, they catch lucky Hail Maries, and opposing teams do things like drop winning touchdowns. OSU hasn't earned a whole lot.

You know when Miami had it 1st-and-goal at the one yard line? Miami players tripped on 4 straight plays. Ohio State didn't tackle anybody, they just got lucky when the players fell down.
When we intercepted the ball on the last play against Michigan? Will Allen was actually trying to tie his shoes and the ball fell into his hands.
37-yard pass against Purdue? There were 10 defenders on Jenkins, and they ALL caught the ball. But the refs rules a TD, and then went back and changed the game footage.
Penn State last year? Gamble didn't intercept that TD. He meant to run the otherway, but got confused and we won by mistake.
Illinois last year? We TRIED to get sacked on third down, but Krenzel's 13-yard run was an accident. he thought he was out of bounds. Pure luck.
No, we've never earned a damn thing. All luck. Pure and simple.

You HAVE to be good to win that many games.
Hail Marys are not usually 37-yard passes (that's how long the Purdue TD was). I know you want to believe it...but a 37-yard-pass into one-on-one coverage is NEVER called a Hail Mary. It's called a "forward pass".
They've been competitive because they are indeed a good team. How many fucking games does a team have to win to get respect anyway?
And we've earned every win, because we WON every game.

But anyone could've made that call, it wasn't like a play were a player fumbled while his knees were inches away from the ground and the refs could've made a mistake. The OSU player dropped it immediately the second the ball hit his hands.
