Fox Trot had a cartoon where Jason was asking "what do you call a chocolate chip cookie that doesn't have chocolate chips?" Paige interrupted and said "personally, I would call them a crime against humanity."

I do it all the time - because I like eating and making cookies and chocolate chips or M & Ms double the cost of the cookies. Being a skinflint, I would rather do without.

My last two batches of cookies have not been very good even though they were probably my 150th and 151st batches. So I am hoping to do better this time.

They are not bad at all. Not as good as my moms, but back to my usual standards.

I think my previous mistake was listening to an article which said "do not double the salt" in the recipe.
