Paul Winchell dead. Boomers lose another icon.
So many times in the late '50s - early '60s I was entertained by Paul Winchell and his wooden friend, Jerry Mahoney. Another great one leaves us. RIP, and thanks.

1. I saw him a couple weeks ago on a rerun of What's My Line
Jerry was flirting with Arlene Francis.

Winchell was really amazing.

RIP

3. I remember his 1972 kid's game show "Runaround"
I LOVED that show. It only lasted a season, but I've never forgotten it.

He was terrific. He was a great ventriloquist, a great voice artist, and a great comic.
