right after Olbermann -- I have to say it left me wanting to see it. I am always so reticent about remakes, but I really like Peter Jackson as a director and like many of the actors involved with "Kong".
Unless the reviews are universally bad, I suspect I'll make a trip to the theatre to see this. :)

and like it very much.
I love the original film and view Kong in a very sympathetic way -- I never ever saw him as a "monster", in fact I always cry when he dies at the end. With the new CGI technology allowing Kong to be even more realistic, I suspect I will have an even harder time at his death. :cry:

But I don't remember a giant reptile in either the original or the original remake. And King Kong doesn't look as big in this one.
