Cool night out!
So I went to the bookstore where they sell Mandrake Linux. They say they won't get it in until 11/15. This is sad as WineX won't run ideally under SuSE due to how SuSE configures its stacks...

So I go to the bar. Stayed there for 2 hours. Drank 2 beers and got tipsy. Homely hunchback of Notre Dame that I am, I was ignored like the plague.

So I went to the grocer's to get food. At least they had lots of items on sale.

10 feet from my driveway, a cop pulls me over. Keep in mind I live next to a prison and that I've been doing the following for over a year. The cop points out the air freshner dangling from the rearview mirror, saying it's an obstruction to vision ( :eyes: ) and that the bluish glow coming from my rear license plate is illegal (I replaced the white license plate lighs with blue and the effect is a bluish-white glow, big deal...) At least I didn't get a ticket or summons or noose or anything... I'm not angry at the cop or anything, he didn't make the law and I'm sure nobody was commiting murder, rape, or burglary while he was doing his duty (I live in a fairly safe town, I actually am not being sarcastic! :wow: ).

Interesting, I've also seen neon glow tubes at stores which plug into the car's lighter and light up in blue. If it's a federal law that blue is a big no-no, why the hell are they being sold at all? I didn't fall for that at least, but still - what the hell are they doing being sold in the first place? May as well sell bags of pot next to them...

1. All things considered, not bad
1) you didn't get the ticket

2) you had two more beers than wtmusic

3) you ran zero risk of contracting VD.

2. Quite
Per:

1) I'm grateful I didn't.

2) I'll just do sprite next week.

3) We all die at some point. Seems no point in living in misery. Why our society bases itself on the personal acquisition of wealth and rapid-paced stress-inducing hell over making life fun and worthwhile is beyond me. In the end, we're no better than animals. We're just animals with a greed complex.

But nobody's perfect! :-)
