Some Wiccans do call themselves witches, but they also get upset when people think they're malevolent hags who cast evil spells. They blame Hollywood for witches' bad image. (For some reason, they don't talk too much about how fairy tales also affected witches' image. The Grimm brothers were not exactly working for the Witches, Inc., PR department.)<<

I hang out there when I'm not wreaking havoc here. They do a lot to educate people about a wide variety of belief systems in a very balanced way. They also have hundreds of message boards on religious and non-religious topics from Atheism to Zoroastrianism--and everything in between. They do have a bit of a right-wing/Christian bias in some aspects, but other than that they are excellent.
