Has anyone ever noticed that the smell of
freshly trick-or-treated Halloween candy smells heavenly? I don't mean the stuff that's in your bowl that you're handing out to kids. I'm talking about the stuff that the kids collect. Something about all the different kinds of candy and all their smells mingling. If you don't believe me (or think I'm crazy), go smell your kid's Halloween candy.

This completley useless post was brought to you by scarlet_owl.

1. Don't like to eat chocolate but I love the smell
We have too much candy in the house now....way too much.
By the way I am a member of DU and this is my first candy post.

4. Oh yeah. I love the smell of Crayolas!
I used to really like to smell the gold crayon. For some reason, it always smelled a little different than the others.

5. or the smell of newborn babies?
Not the raw meat labor 'n delivery room smell -- more the smell of a recently bathed week-old baby.

Some day someone evil will figure out how to bottle that smell & use it for nefarious purposes.

6. Sadly, no. I'm not familiar with that smell.
I hope I will be soon, however.

7. That is a fantastic smell!
And just wait for awhile - they dirty their little diaper, and that does NOT smell as good! :)

8. I need to spend more time smelling
and less time raiding their bags.

I feel like a bloated tick after the last few days.
