Who loves their winter gloves? |
|
Mrs. Robb has tiny-fingered little hands that get cold, cold, cold. I want to get her some "cool" gloves for her season this year... the big ones she has had since high school just aren't cutting it.
What's the latest in high-tech hand-warmers? (Now that's a straight line if ever I've written one)

I live in Dallas. it never gets cold enough here for really warm gloves. However, I have a pair of Isotoner gloves that work great. To get them in XS (like I had to) you have to order them online. My hands are so small that there is still room left in the fingertips on an XS size pair.

4. REI has a great selection of high-tech gloves |
|
for every use... shop early though, the small sizes tend to sell out quickly. They are available on their website if no REI nearby.
I got a lightweight pair that are especially "engineered" to be breathable yet insulating for cycling, but would work equally well for driving or everyday use.

5. I absolutely love mine |

they are technically mitten/gloves. The outside looks like a mitten, made of deer hide, and the inside is a glove made of some soft knit material...I will go drag em out and find the name..

and can always find something good in the kids' section of any department store. No, I'm not kidding. The fingers on the smallest adult gloves are almost always still too long for me, resulting in annoying over-gloverage when I try to touch something with my gloves on.

7. Hand size is typically the same size as your shoes. Therefore if you wear |
|
a size 6 shoe, your glove size will correspond.
Mileage MAY vary however. Exceptions to every rule.

I wear 6.5 shoes, you're close! :D
The last time I bought a really nice ring, I had to have the jeweler size it down to a 5. He's a custom artist and didn't have a smaller one already made.
