5. I'm not sure

I like a lot of what liberals stand for, but I like guns too. I believe our founding fathers put that Second Amendment in the Bill Of Rights just in case of a situation like we have today. Libertarians are right wing loons though, so if I'm not a liberal I'm not sure what I am.

I'm probably a liberal pragmatic progressive, and I like where the 2nd Amendment says "well regulated". I don't want to argue the militia definition, though. :D

There are three definitions:

1. An army composed of ordinary citizens rather than professional soldiers.
2. A military force that is not part of a regular army and is subject to call for service in an emergency.
3. The whole body of physically fit civilians eligible by law for military service.


And they all mention civilians, not part of a professional army.

And no, I don't live in paranoia over someone wanting to take my guns. In fact, I'm a Kucinich supporter. If he thinks we need more reasonable laws concerning weapons in this country, he may very well be right. My weapons are owned primarily because I fear my government, and those who support it.
