When do they post today's BCS standings? (Bowl Championship Series) |
|
I'm getting interested, since LSU is up to number 4 in both AP and CNN/USAToday polls.
Most people are saying LSU has a limited shot, at best, of making the championship game (likely to be No. 2 vs. Oklahoma). I agree that FSU and USC would have to lose to give them a shot. But I'm also reading opinions that their schedule is (relatively) weak, and that teams like Miami could leapfrog over them, even if they climb to 4 or 5 in the newest BCS standings.
However, I still believe they have a legitimate shot. If they win out (including the SEC championship), and USC and FSU lose a game, they'd have a real case to make.
Opinions?
(Qualifier; I haven't been following these things like I used to due to family and work obligations. But once upon a time, I was a rabid LSU Tiger)

They're usually unveiled at the beginning of the 6:00 SportsCenter on ESPN.

they were revealed at halftime of MNF, as I recall. I have since lost my access to cable, and my interest as well, but have they moved them to Sportscenter?
