I am so enraged right now. |
|
I had found a new virus and reported it many times to Symantec and they brushed me off by saying to call their Technical Support on the pay line! I sent them the screenshots three times - after they claim they didn't get them - and how I removed it and they kept saying to call their support line on *how to remove the dialer.* With all the concern about security they brush a threat.
I have lost faith!
I can't even type right now!

for years with no problems. Got the new one in March when it expired and I hate it. Hate it. It's a pain. My hard drive crashed (well maybe, could be the power supply), when the new one gets installed I'm not even going to reinstall Norton.

12. I have McAfee and have had no problems so far |
|
It auto-updates at least once a week and when I had to contact their support staff one time I got a prompt reply.

13. This one dialer I found slipped right through the Firewall and went |
|
undetected by the various pieces of anti-spyware I have.

14. I did a firewall check recently and found |
|
that all of my ports are "invisible" (or so it said).
I have two anti-spyware systems, the McAfee and Webroot Spysweeper for MSN.

15. Mine are invisible. I ran Spysweeper, Ad-Aware, Spybot, |
|
Microsoft's Antispyware and Spyware x-Terminator. Nothing. The dialer was not listed on any of the sites either.

16. Damn, that's the way of the e-criminals |
|
It seems no matter what tools people come up with to thwart them, they'll find a way around them :argh:
