A funny from the past
Theodore Roosevelt was giving one of his Bull Moose speeches when someone in the audience yelled:

"I'm a Democrat, I'm a Democrat".

After this went on for awhile Roosevelt stopped speaking and asked the heckler:

"Sir, if your mother was a jackass, and your father was a jackass, what would that make you?"

The heckler thought a moment and then replied: "A Republican!"
