Poll question: Best ORIGINAL NINENDO Video Game
I'm talking old school. 1988-89. I'm talking the system that came with Super Mario Bros.

You know you, or someone you know, had it.

What was it's best game?

..where Mario is only lit up by a small circle and you can't see anything else. I always skip that fortress with a cloud thingie...

5. OMG!
I remember thinking that game had the coolest graphics ever.
Then I played Metal Gear Solid 2 on the PS2...which makes Contra look like a 3 year old's stick figure drawings :)

9. To this day, I could tell you where everything was in Mario Bros. 3
That was my job in 4th grade, to know anything and everything about that video game. I still play it every once in a while on the computer, and it's still fun.

14. I loved me some Metroid, but
There was this other game I can't remember the name of that was very hard and very cool - something like Castlevania or Ghosts & Goblins or somesuch. I couldn't get very far on it. But I could play Metroid for 24 hours at a stretch.

19. All the Super Mario Bros games....
....all the Mega Man games, Metroid, all the Zelda games, Blaster Master, Dungeons and Dragons, Lololo (game).....I loved so many games it's hard to list them all. I used to play that old school machine for days at a time. IMO, one of the best systems ever. They were also the hardest games to beat. I remember when my dad found the warp zone to level 8 on the first super mario bros. game, he got so excited and he had to call my uncle and tell him about it.

26. Duck Hunt was mad high-tech...
If you lined the screen up with a mirror, you could play the thing via reflection. My young mind almost blew. I thought I had an alien ray blaster.
