It's official...I hate my cable provider!

One of the main reason I even got cable was to watch "BBC World News" weeknights at 10:00 Eastern Time on CPTV2 (that's Connecticut Public Television for you non-Nutmeggers). But now, Comcast has decided to to stop offering CPTV2 and to replace it with the Connecticut Network, which is basically my homestate's answer to C-SPAN. That means no more "BBC World News" for yours truly. Goddammit, I'm pissed off!

You could always move I suppose, but try complaining to them first. Sometimes they can help.

...I didn't even know about it until just a few days ahead of time, when somebody posted about it here. Since Saturday is a workday for me, I'll need to know about the next one farther ahead of time so I can arrange to get the day off.

4. We got rid of our cable over a year ago

and with 4 boys 7 years and younger, it has not been an easy task! We hated it so much we figured we could find a way to live without it. It was an adjustment but we got through. It has been better for the boys in the long run, they don't sit in front on the tv all day and my husband and I are recovering news junkies so I am happy not to have regular access to CNN these days, then I would be really pissed off!

Mine (albeit the ancillary channel) does.
