Don't ever trust someone who says "come on, trust me"
What is a memorable saying you know to live by?

1. Those who insist on reminding me that they're devout Christains:
I watch very, very closely,because I don't trust them.
If you're a devout Christain, you don't need to tell anyone. Your actions will speak for you. Deeds, not words.
(And no, I don't consider republicans and neocons to be Christains.)

4. I've Known More Of The Jewish Faith
To be better Christians than the Christians themselves.

Not an opinion, but simply an obversation. No revivals, no BS but living in and treating others in the same manner and in same way they would prefer to be treated as your next-door neighbor.

I can't help but respect that from anyone.

7. Exactly.
If you live the life you preach, you don't need to remind everyone that you are living that life. Look at our leaders, and their mouthpieces in the media, and how they remind everyone that they're "Christains" (As if we'd forget that easily: they say it every damn day.)
Yet their actions are purely anthema to everything they claim to be.

Those that help people without any question, or selfish motive, have my utmost respect.
Those who have to tell me how "nice" they are, I am very wary of.

3. You also wouldn't want to trust someone who says
"I am not a crook" or someone who knowingly makes bogus claims in his State of the Union address.

5. Hmm, you got me thinking
Whenever I tell someone "come on, trust me" it usually means I'm trying to pull a fast one. Better remember that when someone says it to me.

6. When someone says "this is a true story"
there is a good chance it's not. Or they wouldn't have to say so.

8. Do unto others.... and then most go out and do something they
wouldn't want their mother's to do to them. Kind of like the parking lot in church after mass on Sunday. :eyes:
