I'm a regular shopper at Wal-Mart.
(I need to be, since I don't have much money and no car.)

1. You get the poverty pass |

But we live in the big city so we have choices to spend our ever shrinking piece of the pie....

2. Where I live it's either VERY expensive specialty shops or W-Mart |
|
For certain items. I know several people who can't afford the former and have to shop at the latter. I don't judge them for it, it's not their fault.

I go elsewhere only because it's closer. Otherwise, I might be a shopper there myself.

4. We don't shop at Wal-mart, and we don't criticize those who do |
|
Everyone has to do what makes sense for them in their own personal situation. When the subject of Wal-mart comes up, I make sure people know my opinion and why I hold it, and I'll make a bid to convince them not to shop there, too, but there are too many places where Wal-Mart is the only option, and too many folks for whom, like you, Wal-Mart is the only practical option.

5. It's the only game in my town. |

Either there or drive an hour away for something else. I get my shampoo and such there when I need to. The groceries I try to buy at locally owned stores.
I feel for you. It really sucks to be stuck w/ Walmart.
