It sucks that i have to do this poll with such bad pictures but its all i have on my server at the moment. Keep in mind that i got up at 5AM with only 2 hours of sleep to hunt all day. I still think i gottem both beat hands down though. :-)

it's our state dog. I owned one for 11 years. He was the best duck dog I've ever seen. They're great dogs.

Another boykin owner. Jackson is the smartest easiest trained dog ive ever owned. He is at my feet as i type. I can teach the dog to do anything in a few days maybe a couple of weeks for the harder things. He handles well and hot on the pheasants. He can snif out a bag of weed (but he will eat it if you dont stop him) He does all kinds of cool tricks and he loves little kids cause he can lick them without having to stand up on his hind legs. Best breed ive ever owned and i think i am gonna stick with them. I was thinking about entering one of them hunt tests in SC. They dont let my dog compete around here. I think theyre scared the little 16 inch 35 pound dog will out do their breeds. :-) Id put my money on Jackson.

think a boykin's too small. I've been in a blind with a lot of people who thought my Clyde couldn't bring in the birds. He showed them all what he was made of though. I'm supposed to be getting another one in a couple of months. Can't wait.

51. Yeah i had this problem last weekend on a wounded duck

He kept on swimming out in the middle of the lake and they kept telling me to bring him back. The duck wasnt wounded bad enough and i finally called him in cause i could hardly see him anymore. He is a die hard little guy. A lab would be better at most things but the boykin has more personality.
