American talk show host David Letterman has secretly wed his long-term girlfriend, according to sources. The veteran comic, 56, reportedly married Regino Lasko - who is six months pregnant with his child - at his Montana ranch "a few weekends ago".

An insider tells American website MSNBC, "We're pretty impressed that he's managed to keep it a secret." Employees on the set where his hit chat program The Late Show With David Letterman is filmed are also convinced the star has exchanged marital vows with his lover. The source adds, "We're all trying to find out. We think so, but to tell you the truth, no one can get a straight answer." A spokesman for Letterman would say only, "My comment is we never comment on Dave's private life."
