Preferred Candidate Supporter Names? Deaniacs? Clarkists? |
|
Edited on Mon Nov-03-03 11:06 PM by tsipple
Of course, once a nominee is picked we're all Democrats first and foremost, but I'm trying to figure out the preferred naming for supporters of each of the nine Democratic candidates. Here are what I think they might be:
Dean: Deaniacs, Deanies Gephardt: Gephardtians, Gephardtists, Geppies Kerry: Kerryites, Kerryists, Kerrymen Clark: Clarkists, Clarkies Kucinich: Kucinichers, Kucinichites, Kucinichistas, DKers Braun: Braunists, Braunites, Brauners Sharpton: Sharptoners, Sharptonists, Sharptonites, Sharptonians Lieberman: Liebermaniacs, Liebermen Edwards: Edwardians
And let's not forget...
Bush: Losers
Anybody got other nominees? Can anyone help me narrow these choices down? Thanks.
(On edit: Added apostrophe to correct typo.)

I think it's Koo-SIT-izens (rhymes with citizens), right?
That's cool. I like that one. Very democratic (and Democratic) sounding.

Although I'm officially adopting "three mouseketeers" now, so thanks for that. (They get that for a week or so after their joint strategy conference call to plot how to take down Dean. Or try, anyway.)
Or maybe the "Axis-of-Feeble"?

22. Pronunciation of "Clerks"? |
|
Is "Clerks" with the British pronounciation "Clarks"? Because, if so, that's particularly subtle and appealing.

Some of them are just too unweildy or goofy.
But I use Deanies. That one works nicely.

Clark supporters need a better name IMO. Clarken? Both "Clarkies" and "Deanies" make me squirm (the names, not the folks... unless you want an itemized list of those who do, PM me, lol just kidding)
