Sex controversy over GTA game

Best-selling game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is being investigated in the US over reports that it contains sexually explicit mini-games hidden in its code.

The controversy surrounds a download available on the net which is said to unlock secret sex scenes.

Game makers Rockstar said they were complying with the inquiry, by the industry body that sets age ratings.

If the findings were to lead to an adult-only age rating, it could limit sales from major retail outlets.

the thing can only be unlocked with a mod; it was never supposed to be played.

2. A great example of why no part of Congress should be able

to regulate this industry.

They have no concept of the medium they are 'regulating', how it works, what is necessary to be done to create the code necessary to unlock this material, and on and on.

Look for a push to forbid any user-created mods if this attitude continues. We can't have 'the people' creating objectionable content in a regulated medium, now, can we? :sarcasm:
