...my last year of college i had a tiny attic apartment, and a fine cat. she was ssmart enough, when she needed to relieve herself, to climb out the window, go down the fire escape, dump in the neighbor's garden and come back up. So for all summer and fall i didn't need a cat box, and just left the window open for her.
i neglected to get a cat box as fall turned into winter and this was disastrous. I admit i was a bad pet-owner.
So one night, my g/f and i are heavily involved in passion, and i did not see kitty pacing by the window leading to the fire escape. Suddenly at a moment of, well, passion, there was this horrible farting noise from across the room and instantly my little studio apartment was filled with this horrendous stench that instantly made futher passion impossible, if you catch my drift.
Poor kitty had dropped a huge mound of shit on the middle of the carpet. She was looking at me with her eyes wide opened as if to say "I'm sorry! Really! I Couldn't help it!"
I dove to open one window and my g/f opened another one. I got the paper towels, carpet cleaner and lysol and went to work. Shortly, with a strong breeze, things returned to normal.....and eventually we were able to laugh about it. i knew it was my fault for not seeing to my cat's needs, but I always held a litle grudge toward her for wrecking my evening of passion.
