Calling all viragos...calling all viragos
I certainly qualify as one! I'm even a Virgo, too!

2. I have a funny story about that word
I do trademark clearance research. A client (I won't say WHO!) wanted to market a natural Viagra substitute, and honest to god, the name they chose was VIRAGO.

I started laughing when I saw the word. The attorney I was working with didn't know the definition - but laughed along mightily when I told him what it meant.

We emailed the client and they decided not to go forward with that particular name.

Men certainly might encounter a lot of viragos if they have that particular problem!

4. I know, can you believe it?
It sounded like a ball busting kind of a drug. I was really amazed that the marketing department of this (huge) company and the attorney did not know what virago meant.

6. Isn't a Virago a Yamaha motorcycle?
Here's a link to the site:

http://www.yamaha-motor.com/star/products/modelhome/24/0/home.aspx

That's the only time I've ever heard that word, when I was shopping online for motorcycles and hit the Yamaha site. Apparently some other posters in this thread are aware of another meaning of the word that I'm not aware of.
