5. I'm for the grisly. Grisly bears have lots of fat under their skin...

but lions don't, so a grisly can absorb a lot more than a lion can. A lion would have a hard time tearing into a griz's flesh. A griz could easily tear into a lion's.

about a bear doing that to a man. An easy feat for him, but still impressive. I think it was in the same book where someone was skinning out a monster sized bear and found five or six pistol bullets lodged in its chest from years before, about where they'd have been if he had been holding someone down chewing on them.
