I just wrote the Dean campaign. |
|
Part of it was my drunkenness, because I certainly know that my idea is as cheesey as they come, but somehow I got the idea in my head that Dean should use a "Rocky IV" theme in his campaign. You know, Dean is the hard-working underdog, going up against the big bad evil scary drugged-out Russian guy. I also imagined that Dean doing some shadow-boxing to "Hearts on Fire" by Survivor might win over some of the more simple-minded right-wing voters (although I must admit to you and myself that I really do like the song).
I thought it might make, at least for one appearance, maybe two, a good framework for his platform and campaign.
It's motivating. I'm serious!
Fine. I'm a dork.

3. Well, you're pretty nutty |

but not dorky. You're silly. I'm dorky because I THINK it's cool, but it's really not. Hopefully if Dean was to carry out my idea he'd make it silly, like yours. Of course, he couldn't be OVERTLY silly about it, because then people like me would be offended when we actually thought it was COOL. It's a very fine line with the Rocky IV themed campaign.
