David Letterman had a BOY!

Harry Joseph Letterman,
Regina Lasko delivered baby Harry late Monday.
He's 9 lbs., 11 oz. and is 21 in. long. He's named for Dave's late father.

Love his show, so I loved this news!

And he did, offhandedly, in talking about soon upcoming such event mention something offhand about a bris during the show the night before last. So I, at least, would have been a little surprised if it had turned out to be a girl. But even though her last name did suggest to me that she might be Jewish, I was a little surprised at Dave talking about things of the sort.

unless it's now Regina Letterman :).. They probably DID know the sex.. For a 43 yr old first-time Mom, they almost always run enough tests to assure that the baby is healthy, and a byproduct is knowing the sex..

I was not able to find the only picture I ever saw of her.. They were on vacation at some race, and someone took their pic. She was a production assistant for the show.. I think they have been together for about 10 years or so..

There was speculation that they did get married in Montana.. It sounds like something Dave would do.. He does NOT like people knowing his personal business.

I bet his Mom was thrilled.. When your "kid" is 56, you probably are not expecting any grandkids from them :)

that he actually had two kids from his first marriage. I swear I read that somewhere a while ago. But yes, he never talks about his first marriage or anything related to it.
