Major gag alert
I'm listening to Y100, a local CW station(I know, that was my first mistake) and two local radio personalities are down in Nashville for the CMT Music Awards, when Charlie Daniels :puke: stops by their booth to give his very slanted views on Bush* and support of the Troops. I only caught the very end of his ranting, which was plenty.

It went something like this: He said that some in this Country don't like the pResident but that he didn't care because he likes George Bush and he thought he was a great pResident. That we shouldn't listen to those in this Country who don't support the Troops because he travels from coast to coast and he can assure us that the majority in this Country do indeed support the Troops and appreciate the job they are doing and we all love them for it. Okay so far, I guess. He then went on to say that we shouldn't listen to the loud mouths in this Country that try to tell us different, don't listen to Dan Rather. He said that Congress just gave pResident Bush* 87 billion to support the Troops and that Congress knows the right thing too do and that they support the troops. The two radio personalities were kissing up to this ignorant ass, nine ways to sunday. They made the comment when Daniels took a swipe at Dan Rather, that we wouldn't hear the 6:o'clock news according to Charlie Daniels(thank goodness for that)and Daniels agreed that would never happen. Then the two suck asses said they thought Daniels should run for president and that he was doing a good job of getting "his message" out. So this loud mouth(me) turned off that crap and put in a Mellemcamp CD.

1. So all the people he meets support the troops
So do I, by not wanting them to get killed in a war that is about politics and wealth transfer. I suspect that what he really means is that the people he meets view the war as some sort of giant international football game and are rooting for the home team.

2. Y-100 isn't a radio station; it's a question.
WHY 100? ;-)

(Former San Antonian who avoided Y-100 like the plague)

3. "Ku Klux Kountry"!!!!
Let's call it what it is! Now don't get me wrong, not all country artists are bad (the late Johhny and June Cash and Willie Nelson). However, country music is nothing more than a right wing Mengels style propaganda machine!!!

By the way, KKKounty sales plumeted in recent years! But suddenly went up after 9/11! One must wonder if they were just profiting off of our tragedy to help their sinking "crap music"!!!

DOWN WITH COUNTRY!!!

:puke:
