My MSN messenger is running in the background |

It says closed on my tool bar but whenever someone signs in it they show up on my screen...anyone know how to fix this?

Microsoft has made it such that it runs all the time, everywhere, nothing you can do about it. I hate it myself, never use it, always just uninstall it as soon as possible.

that uninstalls it on a user-by-user basis: http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_mess_disable.htmI used it and I haven't had a single problem with that piece of crap since. It used to crash my Everquest and everything else. :wtf: :grr: :argh:

Messenger starts by default (anything MS can do to push it's inferior products on people)...It can be shut off, but it's a pain in the ass to find the off option...
