Computer problem....Help
This happens all the time. Am I doing something wrong? Someone sends my an email with a PIC. I try and 'save as' but nothing saves. I can right click and save as a word doc in a Microsoft word document but that will not be accepted for format on photobucket so I can post on here....any suggestions?

3. Are you right-clicking on the picture itself...
or saving the mail content itself as a word doc? The reason I ask is that sites like photobucket will not accept *.doc files. If you do a "save as" for an image, it should have an extension like these, *.gif, *.png, *.jpg, etc.

6. When I click on "save" I get format choices from a drop down menu . . .
at the bottom of the save box.

Could that be it?

B-)

including Save Attachment. You just choose a directory on your hard drive, then upload from there to Photo Bucket.

13. OKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK! I was doing it wrong
I was trying to save each PIC in the attachment, instead of the entire attachment. This is hard work!......BUT worth waiting for!

Why can multiple species get along and HUMANS can't?

I am going to repost so everyone can enjoy!

Thanks everyone for their help

7. Simply drag the image to your desktop
Edited on Mon Jul-18-05 09:44 PM by zulchzulu
If it is an attachment you can't see, drag the attachment to your desktop. If the image is within the body of the email, drag the image to your desktop.

If you have a folder (or an shortcut) to images you save, drag the image to that location. You will have to make Outlook not be in full-screen mode in order to drag the image to wherever you want.

Try this. Drag Bill Gates to your desktop. The computer will know what the image is (gif/jpg/png....)
