(oh, I'm sure this will attact all kinds of responses)
Anyway, I'm adding nuts to my noontime salad to make it more filling and since nuts are a "good" fat, a handful here and there shouldn't hurt.
Yesterday it was macademia. VERY YUM!
Today, it's pistacios. Also yum!
Tomorrow, maybe almonds.....

toast them a bit first.How about some pecans or walnuts? I've had them in spinach salad,along with oranges. A bit odd,but good:)

I have an almond tree, a pecan tree and a walnut tree in my yard.
The almonds are ready in the summer, the walnuts in the fall and the pecans in the winter.
One of the benefits of living in central California.
