9. You're always bitchin' about something.
I just pretend not to notice anymore. :eyes:

I was just going over my bookmarks and noticed a couple of threads from southern DU'ers last winter, commenting on how we Yankees must be freezin' our asses off right now. I plan on resurrecting those next month.

11. Think about the snow! It will help your mental state!
I know how you feel. I live in Ga. now, and I expect hot weather in the summer, but when I saw the weather forcast for NY this morning, I considered myself pretty lucky! It's hotter in NY today than it is in Atlanta!

Find a place with A/C and stay put until this evening. Things seem to get a little better when the sun goes down.

You only have another 6 weeks to go. By mid Sept. things will be better with the weather.

12. Yup, it is one nasty SOB in the bay state today.
Thats why I'm hiding out inside.

I also did the kitties a favor and left the AC turned to a nice cool temp for them instead of turning it back up before I left the house.

THUNDERING & LIGHTENING.

I drove a tour trolley in Boston in 95 or 96 when it stayed above 90 the entire summer. Boston sucks when it's hot & humid.

If I were you, I would seriously consider someone to rake, mow, and plow. Too much work, dude, it is interfering with your time on DU.

My neighbor has a standing prediction about the weather. Whether it's hot or cold, raining, snowing or sunny, she says "We're gonna pay for this". When I saw her today, I said "What are we paying for now"? She said "winter".

41. Summer used to be my favorite season.
But, I got sick of all the hot weather. So, I traded summer as my favorite season for two other seasons. Spring and fall. So now I have two seasons to look forward to. If I can just get through this one.:dilemma:
