I will personally kick your ass myself.

Please don't let that child go to school dressed like that.

1. I wish people wouldn't pick on the kids
they look adorable. It's not school clothing - it's for the White House. I think it's cute. I've seen kids dressed like that for special occasions at church and the like - there's nothing wrong with it.

Edited on Wed Jul-20-05 04:07 PM by CatWoman
his mother, however, needs the shit kicked out of her for that clownish outfit.

Read and re-read my thread title.

I'm not picking on the child.

I'm picking on that HIDEOUS outfit.

don't like it?

tough shit.

and while I'm at it, the girl is dressed like she's about to pose for a box of salt.

Did these people get locked in a time warp?

21. ok
then I wish people would leave the wife out of it, too.

I've seen plenty of kids wearing such outfits at Easter and the like. A trip to the White House is an appropriate occasion to dress the kids up.

As I said, they look adorable. It's petty to pick on such a thing.

I made an observation. you made an observation. but you didn't stop there -- you continued to deride me for mine, and tried to put words in my mouth as well.

I disagree with people all the time. People disagree with me all the time.

but there comes a point where you need to walk away. guess what?

I've reached that point.

to answer your question: my mother was frightened by an opinionated asshole who tried to cram her opinion down my mom's throat.

24. Catwoman ain't picking on the kids, she's take a shot at stepford mom
and helmut-hair dad.

If I say, Apparently the kids are adopted, so what's so wrong with these fundies in the sex department? Are they so religio-nutty that they can't even bring themselves to perform the missionary position? Are they typical republicks in that regard that they have hyper-hangups about sex/sexuality?

That's not a shot at the kids, in fact the kids look normal, one is quiet and sticking by mom and one is dancing his arse off! I do however expect the boy will get an in depth lesson into the evils of dancing including but not limited to a visit from john asskroft and the first 1 hour of "Dirty Dancing".

Pre-edit: I should be ashamed of the "attack" above but these fuckers have no shame and I'm all out of patience for the bush*it.

Considering the godawful orthopedic shoes I had to wear for a couple of years when I was in elementary school, I was thrilled to wear saddle shoes again.

62. Well, I am 45 and my kids are 7 and 5
I didn't get married until I was 35 - I just skipped the whole First Marriage and Married my second wife first. Started having kids when I was 38 and the wife was 27. Best thing I ever done. Got to establish a career, get a Master's Degree, work in the arts and really screw around. My wife got to work in theatre and the two of us got four years together before we took on the responsibility of kids. Now, I work at home mostly and I was able to take a couple of years off and get a Doctorate when my Daughter was born so both Parents were home. There are many many good reasons to have your children later in life.
