For lunch! Whoo hoo! Been awhile since I had that, and its one of my favorite Thai things!
Now that I stop to think about it, I usually end up with something weird to eat. If its not Indonesian (Soto Ayam, Krupuk, Nasi Goreng, Rendang, Durian), its southern vegetables from the garden (blackeye peas, squash, okra).
And the only reason I get that stuff is 'cause my wife is Indonesian and I grow the vegetables. Man, if I lived in a city that had something other than fast food, Chinese and Mexican restaurants, I'd probably weigh 300 lbs!

Since I know you have all been besides yourselves in anticipation of a report on my latest gustatory excursion to such a degree that it even eclipses any new revelations in the Rove/Plame affair, let me just say now, for the record, that my lunch was, indeed, a rare experience.
Just so you know, the restaurant I ordered it from released me - in rather dramatic fashion earlier today - from any need to withhold this information any longer.
And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming... ;)
