Complaint about new "Angel" opening credits |
|
The opening music for "Angel" has always been good: open with cellos, then just as the first beat of the percussion explodes, the music is paired with a scene of Angel kicking in a door, while gettin' his Vamp on.
This season?
Just as that first percussion beat hits, we see Angel snapping a book (more a tome, really) shut, with a slightly beat look on his face.
Anybody else find this change humorous?

I agree - what's with captain forhead and the crew? Spike seems to be kind the comic relief right now.
I still like the show, but is has taken a different turn. Cant say I liked the Cordy/Vincent thing too much though (eewww).
I think it may be a setup - been reading some spoilers on www.spoilerslayer.com and I think there will be a conflict with the whole Wolfram / Hart thing eventually.

2. Maybe it's meant to symbolize |
|
Angel's lack of faith in the prophecy... that it's really supposed to happen.... for him.
Congruously, Spike seems to have considered seriously the prophecy for the first time last night. That maybe the prophecy is meant for *any* vampire with a soul who saves the world. And he's already done that once by closing the hellmouth.
