I've even managed to wipe from my memory that he even managed the Royals. The white rat should be always associated with the Cards. I got his autograph once. It was San Antonio Missions hat night, and they were playing the Arkansas Travelers back when they were a Cards farm team. Whitey was there checking out the young guys. He signed my Missions hat. Then the security guy showed up and prevented other geeks from doing the same. :D
