i need a little help from donating members

because i cannot start a thread in DU Groups as I am not a donating member. If some donating member would be kind enough to start this thread for me in the Peak Oil group, I will be grateful.

Subject: Soliciting info on settin up a PO association

Body:
I've had it with the depression and the panic attacks. I need to get off my butt and do something about the coming crisis. I live in India, and I want to set up a small not4profit organization dealing with Peak Oil and how to prepare for it. I believe it would be the first of its kind in this fucked country, which is leering at "development" USA-style.
Does any body here have experience setting up any kind of association/organization dealing with anything? How does one go about it?
Vaguely, I figure I would need to publish material (on the web or as pamphlets) listing out the need for the organization, and then seeking funds perhaps? Then what?
