How is Bakersfield considered part of Los Angeles?
It is over 90 miles away (which means it takes at least 2 hours to get there).

1. Obviously you have forgotten

that Los Angeles runs the culture, from its headquarters in Hollywood.

You are all subject to our rule.

2. Time is irrelevant - it can take 2 hours to get ANYWHERE in LA
That being said, it IS a bit of a stretch. B'field is in a whole other valley from LA.

6. Who is saying it is part of LA?
It isnt...it is Kern County and you're right, it is 90 miles north of LA in the San Juaquin Valley, over and down the Grapevine hill.
