I'm about to wrap a birthday present in Christmas paper
I thought I had some birthday related wrapping paper upstairs but all I have is some stuff with snowmen on it. I don't feel like going out and spending money on a new roll for just a CD. I think my aunt will get a kick out of it...It's Christmas in July!

4. Aluminum foil
With a colored ribbon, it makes a very pretty wrap.

7. I had to do that once with brown shopping bags
I just turned it inside out and painted happy birthday all over it and tied it with a ribbon. It went over just fine. They thought I was being creative.

8. I've used aluminum foil or Sunday funnies for color
as wrapping in a pinch.

9. I used to give b-day cards with the wrong age on them
because they're all so stupid anyway, you might as well have some fun with it

10. I always turn mine inside out if it is not for the right occasion.
The best one was for my father-in-law's birthday gift. I spread the wrap all over the floor and I took out the finger paints and had my boys paint all over it. They did wiggles and curly cues and hand prints. My father-in-law cut out the section with their hand prints and actually framed it!
