Fed Up.....

I just joined DU last night and so far am enjoying it immensely:)

I am going to be 40 This coming Sunday,and I have been a registered independent voter since I first voted at 18. I have tried to look at both sides of the issues every election and vote for the person instead of the party.After getting a real good look lately,I have come to the decision that I am going Monday to change my voter registration to DEMOCRAT!!!!!

I have had all I can take from the Repuklikan SOB's and their arrogant condescending attitudes toward the WORKING PEOPLE. Screw them,I will NEVER cast another Republikan vote as long as I live.

when you were in bloomington... the reputation to outsiders is that we turn everyone into democrats or at least, liberals.... yet I read this to 'hear' that you might have still voted the other way ... despite the bloomington experience... but - clearly sooner or later that ole hoosier water must have kicked in... :D By the way... what have ya'll done to Randle El?

No worries...I voted Dem. I am a fiscal conservative (don't spend what you don't have) a social liberal, and a former union member.

Bloomington reinforced many of these things.

I was called to jury duty several years ago and served, then I was called three more times in four years. I switched to Repub temporarily and no longer got called. I still voted Dem. I re-registered Dem several years ago, and have voted Dem in nearly every election (I think I missed a primary) since.

As for Randle-El...The Stillers desperately need an offensive line. I am not going any further on this line of conversation in an effort to keep my blood pressure down. B-)

12. I haven't been able to catch a game on tv, yet

just an issue of scheduling - but I am dying to see him. He was incredible to watch as qb here.

Guess what I get to do tomorrow night, btw...

12th row - almost midcourt - opening exhibition game... get to see the first peek at Patrick Ewing jr and the hoosiers! (Its pathetic... but even the exhibition (run over the opponents) games are a kick! I can't help myself).

We need more pissed off liberals with some fight in them in the Democratic Party. I have been a lifelong Dem, but was registered Independent for 6 months in 2001-2002 out of disgust for the Dem leaders. I was glad to come back, though.
