It's a bad joke that keeps reappearing. It was funny the first week, ok?

Besides, its nothing more than a post count pumper now. Nothing like opening that thread to see some silliness only to be disappointed to see 30 consecutive posts by one poster containing nothing but a solitary word in the subject field.

Maybe the mods are waiting to see when the thread will crash the board. I've seen humongous threads do that on other BB software, so I assume its possible here too.

Besides, that thread "died" about a day after it was posted. Absolutely nothing will be lost if it is locked.

I started getting annoyed around 200. It became somewhat amusing again as it got up to 925 or so and some asked "who will get the 1000 post?"
The thousandth post came and went.

Free these people from the thread, they've been sucked in.
