1. I've been usig it in various iterations for some time |
|
seems like maybe a year, probably less. Wouldn't be without it. At home, laptop and work computers. They've added some extra crap to it just recently and I didn't like - so I had to change settings - no big deal. When I switched to Opera 7.2 it worked great loaded itself - actually, I think it might be a part of Opera - I am so used to it I didn't notice at first that I hadn't installed it. big thumbs up from me.

I also have the Merriem-Webster toolbar that has a dictionary and thesaurus built into the tool bar.
And Mapquest tool.
I like my browser gadgets....

I use the dictionary all the time, but go to it through my favorites folder. I guess I'd find it at their website. Will look for it. I use Mapquest often too, I'll check into that as well. Thanks for the tips!

I kept a shortcut in my taskbar with a special little icon just for Webster's. I never bothered to look at the tools they had available, but as soon as I read your post I installed it alongside my Google toolbar.
Thanks!
Do you have any more can't-live-without-addons that you'd recommend?

on my toolbar. I use them both regularly. I recommend both.

4. I love the highlite feature |
|
when you search something, you hit the highlite function and it highlites the words you searched on so that you can find the reference without reading 18,000 paragraphs of other stuff finding what you need.

I used to love the Toolbar. Then I switched to Mozilla. Does anybody know if there is a way to get the Toolbar if you use Mozilla? I couldn't find any info on it in the Toolbar FAQ.
